This educational anatomical model of a head which is made of hardened rubber is skilfully hand painted to show the facial muscles and primary veins in a human face with annotated notes.

This life size study mask is signed to the reverse with Le Masque d'etude de S Laube, stamped with Masque et Main de etude de Simone Laube 33 Rue Claude-Lorrain Paris, dates from the Art Deco period and would have been used as a teaching aid.

One of these is on display at the Museu dels Sants d'Olat in Spain.

A rare antique piece that would look super in a beauty therapist studio and would make a great gift for a doctor or medical student.

Material: Painted Rubber.

Marks: Signed to reverse with: Le Masque d'etude de S Laube and stamped with Masque et Main de etude de Simone Laube. 33 Rue Claude-Lorrain, Paris.

Dimensions: Width: 18.5 cm (7 1/4"). Height: 29 cm (11 1/2"). Depth: 16 cm (6 1/4").

Weight: 880 g.

Condition: Good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some chips, bumps, cracks and marks. One long crack through the forehead and a hole in the side. Please see pictures.
